After living in Florida 50 years, I still Love it, but you have to choose which coast. Calm white sandy beaches on the Gulf,, OR Surfing & fishing the wilder Atlantic side.
The Gulf beaches, all the way!! I moved to Florida in 2011, from the DC metro area. I have lived in Tampa, St Pete, and Longboat Key. Longboat Key is MY happy place, most definitely!!!
St. Pete Beach is my literal second home! I’ve been going there since I was six weeks old! At least once a year for 76 years. It’s MY happy place!!!
I love St Augustine is my favorite beach that I’ve been to. Also I liked the beach in Hollywood
